Visual identity for Paradoxy AD, (Paradoxes in architecture and design), the initiative that has a goal to pinpoint paradoxes related to the problems in the city of Bratislava and their design or architectural solutions. I was approached by them to design their visual identity, future visual strategy and exhibition design.
The visual concept is based on dichotomy of a paradox. The logo is composed of two overlapping lines of text, which are visually representing the discrepancy between two co-existing paradoxical situations. It opens up and shows the content in between – what can be used in various applications of the logo, either in a static form or an animation.
An example of the logo use in a letterhead with a unique folding. The logo is visible immediately after taking the paper out of the envelope in its full form – then it opens up along with the paper and frames the content of the letter.
Another possibility of the logo use – as a tear off bottom part of a flyer/poster with contact details.
The logo can open also in a physical way – as a pocket on a bag, exhibition panels, or in other print use.
